Product Description

GT8008CKE, Checkers Plus – Floor Games consists of 26 oversize gaming pieces and laminated instructions for six different games that can be played with them. The gaming instructions include the rules for six games – checkers, give away, goban, fox and geese, shifting pyramids and corner checkers. The different games are shown in the images on the left.

The gaming discs are molded ABS resin measuring 4” in diameter and 1/2” thick. The discs have dimples on the bottom of the pieces and matching indents on the top. This allows the discs to be double stacked, making “king” pieces. The colors are black and yellow.

The concept of the “oversize” gaming pieces is to provide a unique entertainment experience for either adults or children. Setup the game board inside or outside. At a party, use it to get everyone involved in playing. For children this is a fun way to teach them the games and for them to have fun moving the giant pieces.

This game is intended to be played on an oversized board. At the beach you can draw the board in the sand or on the patio you can draw the board with chalk. The recommended choice would be to use GarageTek’s Portable Game Board, GT8008PBE. The GT8008PBE, Portable Game Board uses 6” interlocking tiles and has a beveled border. If you already have an installed GarageTek Tile floor, another choice would be to have a game board installed as part of the floor by one of our local dealers.
